It says that you're a functional human being. The sad part is that most "fandoms" tend to be comprised of the batshit insane people who make it the center of their life and don't talk about anything else. They just spend their hours writing fan fiction and drawing their "original characters" and they generally scare people with their obsessiveness.

The problem becomes that when someone makes a social club/gathering/society for a particular something, it's usually either run by or infested with (or both!) the mentally ill devotees who pissed their pants in excitement when they heard about the chance to sit around in a group and show people their shitty artwork of their super special original trainer and his team of extra special pokemon. There *is* no social club for "Chill people who want to hang out and happen to also like pokemon so we might battle or play cards or something. Or we might just hang." Fan clubs are nothing but a rotting carcass to draw the retarded fandom vultures.
