It's a competative dragonite. Adamant nature, maxed ivs, spawned by a ditto and ev trained til level 100. He's a born shitwrecker. Then his trainer decided a more defensive varient would fit his team better and released him to breed a new one. Dragonite is still salty.

Personally I love the whole Dragonite line. The anime always did a pretty good job of balancing cute, cool, mythical, and friendly for the family. They are all very quintessential Pokemon to me and capture the spirit of the franchise. Superpowered creatures, usually hidden away in the wild, that make great companions and devastating battlers when captured.

Dratini is adorable, Dragonair is elegant as all get-out, and Dragonite simultaneously carries an air of power with a friendly appearance. The progression may not be logical but I'm fond of each design.

It's so sexy how expressive it is.
