It doesn't get +100 in its BST though. It just gets a different arrangement of stats. I mean they'd make it have some fancy animation like they do with Groudon and Kyogre. Origin Form Giratina already gets limited by its item so I figure why not just put that into its stats instead and have it work like a Mega or Primal.

It could also gain a new ability that lets you select its type right before it mega evolves so Judgment isn't shit.

and hard-code judgment sorta like how multi-type is already hard-coded, so that judgment just goes based on your current type determined by protean

cm/twave/recover/judgment would allow judgment to be normal, electric, or psychic based on the last move you used, so it would always have stab

It would have to be a new move and not Judgment. GF always makes sure new evolutions for a preexisting pokemon, mega or otherwise, require some item or mechanic that didn't exist before.
