regardless, if you do your super training and amie at lv 1, the results are obvious. you're going to have to level your poke up to at least lv 50 anyways.. so 20% exp helps that a lot. same with catching wild pokemon, leaving them with 1hp has helped me multiple times.

I always max out affection on all my masuda shinies. I really only do it becuse i like the ribbon you get for maxing it out. Pretty on dem shinies.

Yup, my breeding Talonflame and my HM slave Linoone. They do/did enough for me to warrant it. No real feels or anything about it. Just felt like giving my fake buds their fake happiness.

I think Amie is a cute idea and you can really see they put much effort into the animations, but it gets repetitive and boring.
I just went to the Hotel a few times to max out my team, it's not like you need the money anyway.
