I think they should retire Pikachu and I've got a pretty good way it would work:
In the first few episodes Pikachu and Ash get there and battle people and Pikachu gets stomped by basic trainers.
They go to the Pokemon center where an old man sees Pikachu and remarks that Pikachu looks very old. Ash realizes due to its age it can't keep up and it gets all emotional and there'll be tons of flashbacks and shit but in the end Pikachu and Ash mutually agree that his time is over and he goes to live with Prof. Oak with all of Ash's previous Pokemon and everyone cries and shit.

Why does the main page for the new Pokémon games state this,
"A new world, new Pokémon, and new adventures!"
instead of saying a new region? For other regions they have just stated "explore and entirely new region" or something else. Also, why did they tease what they did? Unlike previous regions they showed beta designs of the new games they were working on. Does anyone have theories on this? If this is what they are giving us for the 20th ann. What kind of details do you think will come of this at a later date? Personally I'm beginning to believe less in the idea of Hawaii or Southern Kalos being gen 7 or 6.5

they have already made it clear that it will be a new region though, the strange souvenir is surely from that region. regardless of whether it's hawaii or french polynesia or whatever, the concept art shows a somewhat tropical location and the strange souvenir is a tiki head.
in reality most pokemon regions, like most pokemon, are a fusion of real life influences.

Hello /vp/! In light of the recent news of new footage on the horizon, I am excited to release new details on the latest trailer me and my team are working on. I am the official camera man and executive producer for this project we have been cooking up. Lets get started!
>The trailer starts out with a bright, large moon, surrounded by clouds (similar to pic related). Then, a large blue bat-like creature that resembles the Moon logo covers the moon, unleashing its signature cry
>Then it cuts to a hilltop, showing the bright sun, while a Manticore lion resembling the Sun logo, skips across the grass in a majestic fashion.
>These scenes are both in CGI format
>Next, the logos appear in detail, followed by shots of gameplay
>This gameplay indeed shows off the starters, trainers, and a few quick shots of new Pokemon including the wire frame bird, and a rock Tiki looking thing using a fire type attack
>The Grass starter looks like a panda, The Fire type resmebles a rabbit, and the Water type is a baby water buffalo
>The trailer is very similar to the X and Y reveal trailer, though with more detail and flare
Following this new trailer, a whole batch of details will release on the official site with artwork of the legendaries and starters.

What possible reason could they have for delaying Pokebank compatibility for the Gen 1 VC games?
The only reason I can think of is that they're not going to implement full compatibility (i.e. they'll allow transfers from Gen 1 to S/M, but they won't allow you to pull Gen 1 pokemon from the bank to your VC games) which is fucking bullshit if they do

I imagine there will be a time-machine like tool in S&M much like G/S/C to make the gen1 mons compatible.
And that they will be like the new pokemon and unable to be transferred to X/Y/OR/AS.
Also there is no way you would be able to put pokemon into the R/B/Y games.

Why not just go for the Conkeldurr? Imagine as it swings both pillars around, or if it chucks the pillars to stun/pin the opponent from long range
The rest you're suggesting can be done with 1 pillar

I tried playing romhacks for ORAS months ago but dropped because I was already disgusted at the games themselves and some difficult increase/higher diversity won't save them. The gen 6 romhacks really only change those things and not the scripts.
Neo X/Y's dialogue is also a cringefest that can be somewhat amusing.

X/Y has a lot of similarities to G 1... Kanto starters, Mewtwo, Articuno/Moltres/Zapdos, etc and OrAs confirmed it is all in a new dimension meaning this could very well be the G 1 of this dimension. The Sun has been likened to Gold and the Moon to Silver meaning that Sun/Moon could very well be the G 2 of this dimension and feature a lot of similarities to G 2... Including being able to return to Kalos like how you could return to Kanto (Both start with K meaning that Sun/Moon region could start with J) and since Kalos is included and you will be able to bring over new Pokemon from G7 it is technically G 6.5 and 7 Like how Gold/Silver was G 1.5 and 2... It was mainly G 2 but the inclusion of new Pokemon you can bring to Kanto makes is G 1.5 and G 2
