You know what? The first time ever GF recycled their pokemons was not pika clones or cats; it was by making the nidos a rhydon clone. and by coincidance, those rhydon clones got ground typed. Aragron on the otherhand, is a badass rhydon clone, and what do you know- IT ISN'T GROUND.
Look at rock. great type. people think shit of it because of stuff like geodude and onix- guess what- THOSE ARE GROUND TYPE. ground type made rock type look boring while lying low and pretending it isn't there.
Here's another example- nincada. no one cares. surskit was bug water and anyone got dissapointed when it lost its unique typing, but nincada? meh. Because you guys knew, ground is boring. another bug flying is cooler than a... a bug/ ground!

try to make a mono-ground run. lets see you not falling asleep of boredom in the middle.

Unless you want to own it for collector reasons, just emulate it on your computer/mobile phone or wait for the possible day they add it to VC like RGBY. Used copies of the cartridge itself tend to be cheap too. But again if this is for collection purposes and mint condition sakes, you're basically screwed from getting a copy unless you toss in a stack of cash.
