So yeah I know I'm late to the party with the whole Gen 1 20th Anniversary re-release, but I'm looking at buying one of them now and just wondered what the general preference was between them - atm I'm leaning towards Red. I've never played the OG Gen 1 games (only FR/LG) and also what's the story with trading with the 3DS versions now? Is there a trade system that's similar to the X/Y series or is it just Local/Friend trading like Diamond/Pearl.

Wait a second. I was reading about Sketch on Bulbapedia, and you can't sketch moves in Link Battles, so shouldn't that mean that Smeargle is limited to moves that are actually used in-game by wild pokemon and NPC? So shouldn't Dark Void not be able to be learned by him legally? Or am I missing something.

Pokenchi is what, 18-20 hours away? Either way, ignore the genwars for a second and think hairstyles. We need hairstyles. Draw or find hairstyles you want the PCs to have or if you want different hair cuts/colours to return.Or also if you'd like the previous protags' hairstyles to be options given the whole 20th anniversary thing.
