>Fusions
>Only works with Pokemon that are duos (Sawk and Throh, Lunatone and Solrock, etc) and maybe even with split evolutions (Shedninja and Ninjask, Poliwhirl and Poliwrath, etc).
>Only works in doubles, but acts as a huge mega evolution with +150 base stats with a good ability and combines the mon, with the first two moves from each being the fused mons moves, and automatically full restores health, status, and all stat changes opon fusion.
>In return, the Fusion pokemon is the only pokemon on your side of the dield allowed out, so ita 1 v 2. Thus, you cannot switch out when fused, and phazing fails on it.
I know the whole fusion crystal conspiracy is gay, but something like this to not so much replace mega evolution, but rival it, would be okay in my book.

Lets clear up some misunderstandings about ORAS. I'll start:
>XY had framerate issues, and while they're still present in ORAS, it's much less in the overworld and battle speed is still way above anything from previous gens so in the end the framerate drops don't cost you any time
>while Emerald has a better story, water routes are still as boring as they get
