It all starts with a dude named champ - his team is compiled of the first 6 Pokémon suggested to him by you. He'll wash away the competition on the borderline illegal simulator Pokémon Showdown!™ and sweep through both Karenfags and Smogondrones alike. Once he's washed out he'll call for either a new team or a new champ, and from there the cycle continues!

>one pokemon caught per route
>all legendaries must be caught and boxed, no releasing them or using them at all
>all decisions will be made via GETs
>invalid GETs will be discarded
>a normal GET can decide one aspect(for example, if you get a 0 get, you can choose which pokemon is caught, but not its name as well)
>dubs can overwrite any normal GET, and force temporary rules(for the duration of the thread)
>trips can force me to release pokemon
>quads can force permanent rule changes, within reason
>we don't talk about quints, except to say GETs can't be repeated.

>Due to a GET, all caught pokemon must have a lewd drawn of them by OP
>Due to another GET, this includes the pokemon previously caught, as well as all future evolutions
>Due to a Quints GET, all pokemon in the party and PC, aside from G.E. must be released at Solaceon town, and new pokemon must be caught on each route.

I can't believe people are crossing their fingers for this abomination to be real. I mean what the fuck? Who the hell would even approve this deformed monstrosity as a starter? As a nonstarter that little people would care about I wouldn't mind existing. But as starter that going to be heavily marketed on our faces? Not even once.

Yesterday was the Galvantula line, today will be about the metal plants incased in metal, Ferroseed and Ferrothorn.
My thoughts: A pretty cool grass type. I believe this is the first Grass/Steel type, and despite a glaring quad weakness to fire, Ferrothorn finds itself a success niche in competitive...So much so that many see it as cheap, right up their with Talonflame.
Now, designwise these Pokémon have a very...odd disposition in the fandom. A lot of people find Ferrothorn to be so aesthetically displeasing, but I'm of the few that asks how and why? Infact I asked this in a Ferrothorn thread yesterday and I was told that most don't understand that it's based on the durian fruit, which looks very spiky. Is it the lol edgy memes or something?

Anyways, overall I like the Ferrothorn line, but I'm curious as to why this is seen as one of the most un-aesthetic Pokemon in the series.
