All right, this is the new Pokemon gimmick for Gen VII.

Pokemon now ventures into the waters of more traditional JRPGs and now has different versions of the same creature.

They aren't new Pokemon, but simply pallet-swaps with a new typing and slightly modified moveset. For example, Ice-typed Charizard's level-up moves might be something like:

>- Scratch
>- Air Slash
>- Freeze Dry
>- Growl
>- Blizzard
>- Powder Snow
>- Dragon Claw
>- Haze
>- Dragon Claw
>7 Powder Snow
>10 Haze
>17 Dragon Rage
>21 Scary Face
>28 Ice Fang
>32 Icy Wind
>36 Wing Attack
>41 Slash
>47 Ice Beam
>56 Frost Breath
>62 Ice Punch
>71 Blizzard
>77 Sheer Cold

And there wouldn't be a limit necessarily to the amount of alt's any given Pokemon could have, some may have no alt's, but I think it would simply add a fun spin to the game, like if you needed an Ice-type, but your favorite Pokemon is Charizard, well here you go. A perfect addition to your team, or whatever.

Why is this allowed? In fact, why every fucking fairy gotta have some stupid shit like high Atk or SpA and spam their moves? I thought the whole idea was to stop outrage/close combat spam, not shift that for another type.
