Yesterday was the Ferrothorn line, now today will be about the sentient gears Klink, Klang, and Klinklang.
My thoughts: This line is the exact opposite of the Ferrothorn line. By that I mean, where I'm perturbed that the Ferrothorn line is so disliked designwise, I'm equally puzzled that the Klinklang line actually has a sizeable fanbase that likes it. Whether it be the design or concept, I can't tell, but trust me when I say there's fans of this gear line.
I've never used a Klinklang, so I don't have any firsthand experience in terms of competitive. All I've heard is that it's a Pokemon with squandered potential. Like, Klinklang could be much better if it was given more damaging moves.
Overall, This line is pretty odd. I don't hate them, but just like I asked why Ferrothorn is so disliked, I'd like to know what makes Klinklang so likeable.

ITT: very small changes you'd like in the games
For me, I'd like Psychic to be represented by the colour in pic related. All the Psychic move-boxes, when you look at a Psychic pokemon's summary and see their type, etc.
In Amie, the Psychic based decorations seemed to be this teal colour instead of the hot pink it normally is. Chances are, this was done so it wouldn't clash so much with the new Fairy type, which was represented by pastel pink but both were still "bright and pink" design-wise. It didn't help that Psychic and Fairy are seen as very similar thematically by a lot of fans, and the fact the actual moves and their move-boxes share a similar colour didn't help.
The Amie colour for Psychic is also generally a more calming, cool (in terms of mood, not cred) colour, and with Psychic being about the clarity of the mind (Calm Mind), it works well. Coincidentally, its also very similar to the defunct "???" type. May help to make Psychic seem more sci-fi-mysterious, while Fairy stays fantasy-mysteriousor just "girly" MLP magic it is so far, lets be honest
Lastly, Both Fighting and Psychic have warm, red colours to represent them, yet they're seen as rival/opposing types. Fighting staying as the warm brick-red and Psychic becoming the cool tealish-blue would strengthen their theme of opposition to each other.
