As much as I love distributions I hate distribution shinies unless they are for shiny locked mons like Xerneas. What does /vp/ think? Kinda makes the pokemon feel less valuable

I think distributions of any Pokemon is kinda stupid, why not make them catch-able through some in game event. And make them harder then normal mons, maybe some special conditions need to be met rather than just decreasing the catch rate. Make it so not just any old joe can get them. That would make them feel more special. Rather than "here, everyone gets one, lvl 100 too."

Even if they weren't going to go all out like BW2. I'll be the first to admit that X and Y were my least favorite games, but that's exactly why I wanna see a sequel. The Kalos region still has potential. The legendaries are Life/Death/Balance. . . Surely they could do something cool with that?

The simple answer is ORAS.
BW2 were never planned, Nintendo made them release those games.
Hell, Ruby and Sapphire were forced by Nintendo after Tajiri stepped down as director.

Just as they could do something cool with the original dragon. There are lots of cool, untapped concepts. Cool concepts are not what solely drives game development.

It wasn't a problem for me when I first started this archive in 2013, but over time I've had less time to manage the site, deal with reports, etc.—I was really neglecting it, as I'm sure many people could tell.

I take full responsibility for this, however I am saddened that there is no way to recover the data (there's a slight chance I might be able to, but I will have to wait until tomorrow to find out), and I deeply regret not making backups, something obviously very important for a site of this nature.

I always at least get shinies up to their final evos, sometimes I'll even reset one of my other games, move the shiny and a few other lads to that cart and play through with that team.
