So does anyone have Gen 6 as their favorite gen? I think X/Y were pretty alright games minus the shit like overbearing friend group as well as Exp Share. It wasn't my favorite but I feel it really did have potential.
If Z version actually happened I think it would've been a really great game, on par with HG/SS and BW2. As it stands, Gen 6 is probably gonna be the most loathed generation solely because they cut the cord too early.

I warmed up XY a lot, but they are very shallow for just a playthrough. But you can't blame the developers for being safe and pandering, considering all the new mechanics they added, with meager success. Who is going to want to learn about a mega evolution with some unfamiliar pokemon they never used before?

I couldn't help but notice that there weren't any trainer bystanders in these clips. Pic related has a dark background, but it offers a wide view of the scene behind Gengar, where there are no trainers to be seen.
So... we only get to see the trainers when we're against a plot character? Was looking forward to seeing my character and pokemon in the battle scene throughout the game against wild mons etc, shit.

Thought about this too. But if you watch the video from start to finish, there aren't any trainers around at all, even before the pokemon begin to attack.

I think the most interesting thing to come from the gameplay will be, unless they go out of their way to cover it up, some OST samples.

Do you even know how hard it is to make animations and models in 3D? We got cool sprites in Gen V because they're extremely easy to make.
Be grateful that recycled assets mean that there's going to be new mons.
