Apparently, BW 1 really bolsters the experience. I played both, and don't know otherwise, but apparently someone who started with 2 was disappointed.
I'd say play through BW, then move on quickish.

Black and White 2 are pretty solid all-rounders. You don't really need to know about the story before then, just that Team Evil used to have a point, and the weirdo with the Dragon used to be a bad guy.

Well, Gamestop fucked me over and sold me a broken copy of Alpha Sapphire. To wit, I cannot advance past Petalburg Woods because the Aqua Grunt encounter crashes my game.
However, I must catch them all. Even if I can't physically catch them.
To wit, I have started wonder trading like mad in a last-ditch effort to complete, if not the National Pokedex because the game isn't tracking that at such an early stage of the game, at least the Hoenn dex, before I run to Gamestop and demand either a refund or a fixe copy tomorrow.
How long do you guys think it'll take me? I've already got 21 under my belt, although something tells me that's a far cry from complete.

What version exclusives would make you choose one game over the other even if you originally wanted to go with the other one, /vp/? Both Pokemon types and species and general features are fair game to discuss.
Personally, I want Moon from the legendary alone, but if there's an Easy Mode and Challenge Mode like in B2W2, I'll probably go with whichever has the Challenge Mode by default.Also, if there are any elephant or pig Pokemon version exclusives, I'd probably have to go with whichever has them, because they're my favorite animals.

Lol its funny how they updated the type icons for the legendaries on the jap page and it goes like this: icon07 (psychic) icon08(ghost) and icon09(steel)... Keep in mind, Solgaleo comes before Lunala on the official page yet, solgaleo's type is psychic/steel, not Psychic/ghost... "Rowlet will evolve to a grass/ground cuz of types order" yeah... Keep telling yourself that ;)
