Never owned a Wii before. Just moved in to my aunts place. As a lifelong Pokemon fan, I'd seen this occasionally on shelves and lists but never played it.
This is pure fun.
No Unova/Kalos designs feels like a real throwback to being young and getting in to Pearl/Platinum
The battle mini game is fun, the sort of 3d open movement battle game I always wanted when I was little
As someone that's never played a full on Wii game before i find the controls simple and endearing
I just finished the Venusaur game and I'm picking up stragglers like Chimchar and Scyther.
Overall I'm loving it. Can we have a thread about it?

Yep, the Poképark games are fun. Play the second one as well. It has a lot of gen5 Pokémon, but it's generally better. I hope we get a new Poképark game with some platforming, both 2d and 3d, though I want 3d more, more and better exploration, a better combat system and most of all better movement.
These games are fun, but they have some issues, which a third game could definitely fix.

Will Mega Evolution be retconned into Synchro Evolutions or will both mechanics coexist?
If the latter, will they simply stop making new megas or will both megas and synchros be added in every new game from now on?

For me, I'd say that the new designs are anywhere between 50% and 75% of the reason I love Megas so much.
If Synchros don't really change the looks in cool and interesting ways, that's going to be quite a letdown. I would say that that is a blunder on GameFreak's part.
I know they don't want to have literally hundreds of Mega Stone items in your bag, but that doesn't mean they should take the easy route when designing Synchro or future Megas.
If Synchros become a thing, I hope that they do not preempt future Megas from being designed. If they are a way to allow everything without a mega a way to go "mega" then... I could live with that, maybe, providing they get retconned later on in years to come with better designs.

My name is champ, I'm an artist, I'm a performance artist. I'm hired to people to fulfill their fantasies, their deep dark fantasies. I was gonna be a movie star y'know, modeling and acting. After a hundred and two additions and small parts I decided y'know I had enough, Then I got in to showderp world. The client requests contain a lot of shitmons, so I just decided to go y'know... full champion and change my entire house into a dungeon... showderpchampion now with a full dungeon in my house and It's going really well. suggested shitmons are 6 and usually the guy is pretty much hard on pop to get really relaxed y'know and I have this long latex glove that goes all the way up to my armpit and then I put on a surgical latex glove up to my wrist and just lube it up and it's a long process y'know to get your whole arm up there but it's an intense feeling for the other person I think for myself too, you go in places that even though it's physical with your hand but for some reason it's also more emotional it's more psychological too and we both get you know to the same place it's really strange at the same time and I find sessions like that really exhausting. I don't know I feel kinda naked because I am looking at myself for the first time, well not myself but this aspect of my life for the first time and it's been harsh... three to five years already? I never thought about it... Kinda sad I feel kinda sad right now, I don't know why
