Let's talk about the theory going around that Lillie and Zygarde have some sort of connection story-wise. We saw in a trailer that Zygarde and all it's forms are going to be in SM, and it's unlikely that after all the attention it got, it's going to be just sitting in a cave like Mewtwo in XY. Seeing how GF is going authentic brown in alola, Lillie being white makes her stand out, but also her way of dress. Other Aloans as we've seen dress light and dress colorfully, but simple. Lillie looks like she came from XY with her fancy dress.
Could this mean that she did come from Kalos? If so, why? Maybe Zygarde moving to Alola has something to do with it. It was stated she would play and important role in the story. Maybe there really is a Zygarde core in her bag. Maybe Zygarde isn't fully cucked after all.

Greetings, meatbags. This is Showderp, an online game developed by meatbags such as yourself, but if we're being honest here robots would probably make a better game any day.
What you got here is a guy named Champ, and he takes the first six pokey mans you guys suggest. Then, he goes into that showdown website on the internet and battles it out with other meatbags, until he wusses out and calls for a new team or a new champ. For the first thing, the first six wacky monsters suggested called are used just like before. For the second thing, the loser gives up the title of Champ for the next person to call it, and from there the first six whatevers and blah blah blah the cycle continues.

Let's assume that the 1,000th Pokemon in the dex will be a legendary/mythical. This leaves us with 279 Pokemon left to be distributed across X number of generations.
There's a lot of ways Game Freak could split this up. But what GF could easily decide is that the 1,000th Pokemon will be in Gen 10.
4 generations left until Gen 10.
280/4 = 69.75
An average of 69 Pokemon a generation for the next decade.
How would you feel about this, /vp/?inb4 GF says "fuck it" and shoves 300 new Pokemon into S/M.

I think I could stomach that if we continued to get new forms and mega evolutions.
My only qualm is that Game Freak inherently hates fun. And with such being the case, I highly doubt, even with 280 more chances, that we will get all type combinations. Which is ridiculous and is 90% likely to happen in my opinion.

I think it's safe to say SM will have more than 100, and I imagine they would continue with a middling number of Pokémon for the next couple gens. Imagine 110 for SM, 90 for gen 8, and 100+ for gen 9, where they break into the 1000's.
