the only main-series pokemon games that are on the eshop pre-gen 4 (diamond and pearl) are pokemon red, blue, and yellow. Otherwise if you're looking for games after gen 4 you could buy either Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X or Y on the eshop. However those games are gen 6.

why the fuck isn't paraflinch togekiss/jirachi banned by smogon yet? it's explicit exploitation of the rng that takes skill out of the game in favor of chance skewed towards the one that's abusing it. it's the same reason swagger got banned. i just can't a reason why it wouldn't be banned in smogon metagames considering their attitude towards banning things.

Why do Pokemon spinoffs sell so poorly, with some falling into total obscurity? Surely with such a popular brand name as Pokemon, they should sell more, right? So why don't they?

First of all as someone pointed out they are already done converting 600+ Pokemon into 3D meaning they can focus more on the new ones. Another thing os that they said something about making G7s Pokemon designs simpler which looks to be the case so far. Simpler = easier to make. Also it was mentioned that Alola would be full of life so take that as you will. Another thing is a pattern someone noticed. It seems every "odd" generation has a lot of new Pokemon (1,3,5) while even generations have less (2,4,6) meaning G7 may have lots of new Pokemon.
