People keep saying the designs are horrid and don't follow the evolutions because one is barabait and the other is furbait.... why?
I mean the last part, I honestly find that dumb. Popplio becomes a sleek seel, keeping in tone with the circus theme by being an acrobat, and it keeps the bubble aspect. Litten abandons the "motif" it has so far of being cool and relaxed and becomes a classic circus strongman and a heel wrestler. They're both keeping the circus theme so far, entertainers, I don't see why they're "bait"
You people seem very troubled sometimes, you're awfully quick to asume furries at work. You did it with salandit's dex, with the orchid mantis, and now these two. You need to stop thinking first about all the people who will inevitably fap to this, they will even if it isn't furbait. The designs aren't inherently sexualized, the mermaid's design is just as femenine as delphox, and the luchador has muscles to exentuate the over-the-top villan aspect.
I don't want people to like the designs, I sympathize with everyone who wanted something different and say these designs don't appeal to them, I get that, but at least use valid arguments intead of playing the furbait card and ditching any semblance of decency the discusion you're in could've had.And since I know this is inevitable, no, I don't want to fuck either of themI wanna fuck the owl

Friendly reminder that these still have the possibility of being real, but scrapped designs. Mega Flygon wasn't a thing because they couldn't come up with a design they could be happy with. Just because Mallow is in this picture, doesn't mean these are the final designs. In no way does Mallows appearance confirm that a wrestler, an archer and a siren is what the starters will evolve into. Designs are subject to change, and we should all just patiently wait for the middle evolutions to be revealed to put the nail on the coffin. Litten fans we still have hope that this will not be our Fire Cats final evolution, just don't get your hopes too high my friends. #prayforlitten

Although I love the designs, there is indeed also a possibility that after GF saw that the designs were leaked that they went back to the drawing board.

In the past few generations, there has been a lot of complaining from fans about "random" types from Gamefreak.
Types in Pokémon are all ELEMENTS, even the ones that describe physical characteristics, like Bug, Dragon and Ghost. This is evidenced by things like the Plates, Gems, Hidden Power, Natural Gift, etc. These objects and berries are imbued with the essence of Pokémon types and their advantages. Hidden Power and moves like Dragon Pulse (which can be learned by non-Dragon Pokémon, for example) show that there's an "energy" to each power, that can be used by a variery of things. What is a Dragon Pulse? It's a pulse of "draconic" elemental energy.
Pokémon types just mean that a given Pokémon has as affinity and ease to use and control those elements, or has their energy running within them. What is Granbul? It's a "dog" Pokémon highly intimate with the Fairy element, just like Growlithe is a dog Pokémon of the Fire element. Of course, some elemental characteristics are easier to describe than others (like Fire, Water, etc) but they all have a set of symbolisms and a distinct flavor. Fairy is the playful/whimsical element (Play Rough, Mr. Mime) but it's also the "purity", "light" element (Gardevoir, Xerneas, Tapu Koko), and their designs draw inspiration from things like that, or even some malicious fairies like Mawile. Dragon, when it's not inspired by literal dragons or dragon-puns (like Mega Ampharos and Alolan Exeggutor), is the "legend", "power" type, the big mythical element, contrasted with the delicate and mysterious Fairy.

there isn't really any "completing" in sapphire since there are no symbols to win unlike in Emerald. I guess you could consider 105 wins the end because that gives you the final reward (some shield for your secret base I believe)
The opponents aren't that tough in this game, but many consecutive wins are still no cakewalk. You kinda have to know what you're doing. Though I think you could get away with no EV training and just having good team synergy
