Pokémon games for Switch will be: Body and Mind.

The region will be based on China, like X/Y and Sun/Moon the region and its Pokédex will be divided in sub-regions.

Starters are based on: Deer (Grass), Snake (Fire), Dolphin (Water). Last evolutions are Grass/Fairy, Fire/Dragon, Water/Fighting.

New Gimmick won't be a "new gimmick", instead some Pokémon will get Bond Phenomenon and Battle Bond. Like Water Shuriken, Battle Bond buff some moves (like Zen Headbutt allowing to hit Dark-types) but only if an specific Pokémon uses it (Confusius-Mienshao, which becomes Fighting/Psychic). The Professor investigates more about Bond Phenomenon. Other Pokémon that gains Bond Phenomenon are: Arcanine, Breloom, Luxray, Eelektross, Hydreigon, Florges, Dragalge, only for name someones.

Trials returns. Your main rival is an adamant and tomboy girl named Marina and her main goal is to defeat the region's Champion. Her signature Pokémon is the Pokémon that has advantage over yours. She gives you all Gen 8 starters with Battle Bond as ability (but she gives you in eggs and in an specific order). Your best friend is the MC you didn't choose, their names are Terry/Helen and he/she help her father to complete the Pokédex. He/She is also in love with you.

This time there won't be a villain team, but the former Champion Confusius will challenge you many times during your travel, then after you defeat him for fifth time he tells you that he wants to become strong and wants to become the Champion again, then he goes away, but a Shaolin Monk reveals that he went to awake the Legendary Pokémon that represents the Body/Mind strength, but he then admits his mistake and goes away to train more.

The Champion of the region is a strong trainer that you knows, but you didn't know he was the Champion Is your father, who didn't know you were a trainer
