Honest question: now that PokeAni shit the bed hard (at least in the opinion of Ashfags aka: the majority of its viewers) would it be possible to see more of pic related?
Like not necessarily more Gen 1 adaptations but more straight up adaptations of the games? I remember the PokeAni used have the occasional spinoff OVA for shit like Mystery Dungeon or like that Raikou special and this gave me hope that at the very least more OVA stuff like this would come out.
Pokemon games aren't the bastion of high quality writing but when adapted well (like pic related) it can be good material for a fun short series. Though it was a shame this apparently tanked ratings wise though.

These three look nothing like starters. When they originally leaked everyone assumed they where the starters but there was no actual statement saying that they are the starters. Roothoot is really close to Rowlet colour wise and looks very generic so it would support (in a way) split evolutions. That new Fire/Dragon turtle could be like Tyranitar with Cubble being the Pupitar. Then there is Finpip. The Chinese leaks did say there would be a dolphin. Keep in mind the Roothoot, Cubble, and Finpip leak came out before the trademarks where filed and appeared on 2ch which is known for CoroCoro leaks. These could very well be some Pokemon designs that where floating around in the development room.
