I hate Magmar. Fuck that piece of ass. Literally. Stick a big fat dragon type dildo in that forehead of yours you gross duck-billed abomination that no one, not even the genwunners like. I mean Magmortar is cool I guess but when you have Magmar as a preevolution to work with, you might end up keeping a few loose screws.
I hate it's name, I hate it's cry, I hate how it shows up literally nowhere in kanto, I hate how it's the only fire type in sinnoh, I hate how it has s&m bracelets on it's limbs and neck, I hate how it has a stupid ass hot rodd flame job, I hate it's random ass arm frills, I hate how it got a baby for no goddamn reason, and I hate how it's somehow FASTER than it's evolution. Most of all I hate how it's Japanese name is BOOBER. Like, they knew what they were doing. Fuck whoever made this design.
And no. It doesn't look like an Oni. Whoever said it was a firebreather too is full of shit. Because there are firebreathers in Johto that use Magmar. They have zero resemblance.
And that's saying something because it's literally the only Pokémon I dislike. Garbodor? Vanilluxe? Voltorb? Bitch I present to you the holy grail of shit that is BOOBER. I mean at least Lickitung and Jynx looked like something.This isn't a response to the Ash battle I just really hate Magmar.

Clearly a better trainer than Ash in Season 1, loses earlier than him for no reason. They built him up to be more focused, ditching the cheerleaders, in Johto and outpaced Ash the entire region but yet he finds a way to lose the 1v1 matchup at the League. Then he basically insta retired from battling because he realised that he's really bad.
