Heard these from a inside source...
- A Palossand building minigame with DS stylus;
- Last starter evolutions are real, but there is more to them;
- First starter evolutions will indeed be revealed in September together with Rockruff's evolution(s);
- Team Skull has a pirate ship;
- New Z-Moves: Pyro Clash, Zap Cataclysm, Tsunami Wall, Flower Strike;
- Morelull has two more evolutions;
- Crabrawler just one evolution;
- At one point in the game there will be absolute sunlight or absolute moonlight;
- Pyukumuku Beach minigame price is reduced in the actual game;
- Pokémon Day Care has increased in price;
- You can actually CHANGE your GENDER in the game, pretty revolutionary if you ask me;
- And lastly, yes 'no hat' option EXISTS.

>You may recall the surprising inclusion of characters such as Mario and Pac-Man in the closing ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympics. However, the Pokemon universe was not among them. According to an unidentified Tokyo Olympic/Paralympic Committee member, the team behind the ceremony show began preparations in January. This was before Pokemon GO was released. Another reason given was that Pokémon was not as “well-known comparatively worldwide”. Mario games sold more than Pokemon games, 320 million and 200 million, respectively. They also felt that “the timing for including Pokémon in the show was still considered not right”. Lastly, the Japanese Olympic Organizing Committee just couldn’t pass up the pun of “Mario” and “Rio” from “Rio de Janeiro”.

New mechanic: "Hidden type" (HT)
Give an extra STAB to the pokémon when he uses a move of the same type of its hidden type
However, Hidden types don't give an extra weakness or multiply the current weaknesses
Ex:
Gyarados has "dragon characteristics", so it has dragon as hidden type, therefore its dragon moves get extra damage
