I'm fighting the elite four in sun right now and my pokemon just got hit with a move that should have killed it but then it said it toughed through it or something because I had the friendship at the max. then I got hit again and it said I toughed through it again and the move did NO DAMAGE to me. what the hell is this

Is there really no way to save my items if i want to restart my game? i like to replay games but in pokemon that will mean i will lose my snorlium Z and since my save file is linked to the PGL that means i will lose that too? is there a way to replay the game without problems?

The image is a previous leak/hint I gave you for the upcoming games. Some people were close on guessing.
nisshoku Iwanko will be revealed on Agusut 10 in the anime and before that date you'll see a reveal on youtube.
The hint in the attached image won't show up until late in the anime but will be early in the USUM Games.
The leak that has been discussed in youtube about 2nd trailer in August 6th is mostly incorrect.

I want a rival that becomes a gym leader as a point of the story. Their aspiration isn't to become champion, but to become a gym leader. And they succeed. And that's your last main story battle with them. It seems nice to me.
Other ideas I think are nice are some things like:
>opposing MC is your sibling, and there is a LOT of ideas that can mess with this, but the most obvious is sibling rivalry
>rival joins the evil team and the moral dilemmas that ensue are part of the plot
>laid-back rival that can casually kick your bum if you don't prepare properly and is surprised, but not salty, when you beat him
>a completely optional rival that you can challenge yourself occasionally
>rival is the champion already low-key, and the elite four already know you and you only go through them and fight the main champ as courtest (because you've technically already beaten him lots of times)
