So I've been looking at the pages for the second forms of the alolan starters, and they all have one thing in common:
an affection sentence
what I mean by this is that there is the general description of the pokemon, their lore and stuff, and then, towards the end, it talks about the trainer himself. If you, as a trainer, spend time with it in this new pokemon refresh, it will show it's true feelings? Could this be the key to the split evos? A certain amount of hearts or points from pokemon refresh could switch the evolution from one normal-ish evolution to something cooler or different at least.
This is just a theory, but it seems like it's worth sharing due to it's conspicuous addition to the entries on the pokemon

What teh fuck is this /vp/? What the fuck is this disgusting piece of shit. It has to be one of the worst designed pokemon I have ever seen. Objectively, qualitatively SHIT.
It literally embodies the idea of >just gets bigger, foremost. But not even in a subtle way, like fetures aren't even exaggerated or changed at all, it introduces NOTHING new aside from that STUPID fucking bell around its neck.

Why would it need a flame sac when litten seems to function fine without one, when all fire pokemon seem to function fine without this made up lala biological nonsense. At least just be honest that you have run out of ideas and google the word cat and saw that one had a bell around its neck and thought that was kawaiiii uguu fucking jap artist scumbag.
Litten's design is actually GOOD. You have that brimstone symbol, it's tail looks like a fuse, it works like a canon, the colours are interesting and new for a fire starter. It's eyes are a change of pace and actually give it personality like it's this bemused emo cat who burns things.
But this... THIS fucking thing. It looks so cumbersome. It doesn't even look like a normal pokemon design, not even the really retarded MLP/Genie shit that gets cherry-picked by every genwunner, it doesn't follow a coherent proportional basis. It's face loses any unique personality, it's front arms are too big and it's paws look awful. I'm actually disgusted, /vp/. This thing is the worst.

You guys are getting this wrong, if you saw the anime, you would've seen the episode where they speak of the old Greninja legend in the village from where Sanpei is.
That Greninja from the old legend looked EXACTLY like Ash-Greninja, someone achieved the same Battle Bond transformation before Ash could and the Greninja still looked the same.though i do not know why they're marketing it like Ash-Greninja, maybe because it could sell more anime merchandise?

Most of /vp/ is dumb as dogshit when it comes to competitive. The concept of switching and team synergy doesn't exist to them.
Grass/Flying played offensively is good. Grass/Flying played defensively is poor considering its only resistances are 4x Grass, Water (which usually packs Ice), and Fighting (which usually packs Ice Punch). And there's also an immunity to Ground, which often packs Stone Edge. It's extremely likely Rowlet's line will play offensively based on its function as an archer, so Grass/Flying isn't really that bad as long as it either hits hard enough or has the appropriate coverage.
