Can we please do something about Ice type? It's amazing how Game Freak has gone this long without recognizing how terrible of a type it is, and yet they still make many slow lumbering Pokemon who can't defend themselves. this type is a hindrance on all Pokemon that have it

>not effective against several common types
>weak against two common offensive types
>ONLY RESISTS ITSELF
>only worthwhile moves are ice beam and STAB ice shard

Grass is also an extremely potent support type. Grass types frequently have incredibly wide movepools, and they get some of the coolest gimmick abilities too. They get Leech Seed, Spore, Spore immunity, and resistances to GROUND AND WATER.
Grass type is NOT BAD and IT NEVER HAS BEEN.
The only way it will ever become bad is if Water types and Earthquake stop being good.

Being able to trade and battle without a Pokemon center.
Randomly interacting with other players.
Nearly every hidden ability released.
Hordes.
Flying to routes.
Moving the "Organize Pokemon" to the top of the menu.

Seems like only yesterday XY came out, and we're going to have a whole lot more toys to play with in just a month.

Hey /vp/ need your help. I've been looking for a way to backup my pokemon save games but my local source for modchip/flash carts in Australia doesn't stock GB/GBC/GBA equipment anymore.

Just wanted to know what you guys in the states and europe use If they're PAL compatible and they ship to AU I got no qualms about purchasing from online stores over there.

Real leaks;
-Around 85 new Pokemon, including at least 6 UBs, plus around 20 Alola Forms
-Starters do not have split forms, the leaked ones are real. Types are not as expected.
-Marshadow has a new type that is unique.
-Z-forms aren't really a thing, mostly.
-Ultra Beasts can be captured post-game, using special balls. You must enter the wormholes.They function in battle more or less like regular Pokemon and even have 'real' names.
-No Alolan form is locked behind QR.
-Over 25 cameos from previous versions.
-The up-coming demo will feature Ash's Greninja as a reward.
-Remaining Alola forms include Diglett, Ekans, Geodude, and Dodrio lines.
