Why do none of the new Pokemon have gender differences?
Why do none of the Alolan forms have gender differences, either? Regular Ratatta, Raticate and Raichu had them.

3-stage lines are the worst. The 1st stage is too weak to be useful with Eviolite, the mid-stage is often forgettable and can rarely be good in any unofficial tier since it can't even qualify for LC, and there's more room for disappointment/losing design themes/etc.

why the fuck are rock smash and cut two different and equally shitty HMs.
Waterfall is literally the priviliege of moving upwards in completely arbitrary spots.
Flash and Defog are not worth wasting a move slot, but very annoying to deal with.
Saying that mandatory HMs made the game more "difficult" is like saying that playing the game with the screen upside down and mirrored is an ideal hardmode. It isn't, it's just a way to waste time.
Pic related is any nostalgia retard who will come up with reasons why rainbow coloured roadblock removers are good gameplay mechanics.

I think it'll end up being just barely better than X/Y which isn't much.
X/Y will have the better pokemon but S/M will have better content and gameplay but in the end they're both on the downward spectrum of the entire series
