As many have speculated, GF is already in development of a new Gen for the console/handheld Switch. In fact, release should be realistically expected by early Winter of 2018 (jan/feb).
The only reason I have any information on this is I currently work on the creative side of a new sub divison of Nintendo working with Switch developers, ie GF.
I'm between flights right now so I have some free time to answer questions. Keep in mind it is far too early to expose any specific details as they could change between now and announcement. However I will answer everything as best I can.
Let's start things off. The titles of the games are (as of now)

Oh, I meant for me. But that's good to know. Are they going to do new megas/region forms or is this the gen that they introduce fusion (since Gen 4 had that Dialga/Palkia fusion statue so it'd be a nice segue)

afaik yes. Some pastebins were doing the rounds yesterday supposed to be pulled from the datamining. I made the image according to those. It only shows the first time you meet each line. A lot of 1 is repeated on 2, a lot of 1 & 2 are repeated on 3 etc.
