RIP Nintendo, their schemes will be revealed with the upcoming release of Sun and Moon. No longer will people not notice the fact the Nintendo ships New 3DS's with a 50% 50% chance of an IPS or TN top screen. Lawsuits and blame will be thrown everywhere and the pokemon franchise will... not change at all because we all known Nintendo doesn't give a shit.

I'm playing FRLG for the first time so I can catch up with the only region I havent played before SM comes out (besides playing it in HGSS)
Holy fuck man the routes are tedious
>a ridiculous amount of trainers on every route, like 10 trainers all standing next to each other
>they all have Poisoning moves or Whirlwind
>TM heavy, especially Cut
>routes and TOWNS are maze like and involve walking far to get to places close by
>nothing made to space out the battling, just fighting trainers nonstop in every route and town
>a lot of the same trainers on each route so its battling the same thing over and over again
Man, it's a real shame. Everyone talks about how tedious Sinnoh and Kalos is, but I never hear anyone talking about how tedious Kanto is. It's right up there with them.
I dont hate the game (plus I havent finished yet, I'm close to Koga), but its certainly not my favourite. I get why people say it's a good starting game. It's average.

So what are the chances their lore is retconned to include Ultra Beasts or Ultra Space in some way? They already retconned the weather trio to fit in with the flavour of gen 6.
Isn't there also a reference to these three somewhere in SM?

I can see it being the case for Giratina and Arceus, but with Dialga and Palkia being more "grounded" in Sinnoh as regular guardian pokemon.
But it's certainly a way to tie them in and retcon their OPness.

What we see as Guzzlord could have just been a guzma in another timeline who was taken. same for pheromosa and lusamine.
People like Anabel and Looker are ones who managed to escape before being converted, and those who have are hunting them down because of it.
