Forgot that was a thing.
I completely forgot corocoro existed

Hype for official art I guess?
GF, you liars!
>>29823460
They always lie and cuck us hard
Escavalier's description says it moves at high speeds, but its fucking speed stat is 20.
The new Zygarde 10% is only a temporary forme according to the official site, but it can be stored in the PokeBank which means it is a permanent forme etc...
never forget

Vikavolt learns Agility. That's what it refers to.
UB-01 is Nihilego
>NIHIL (latin) means nothing/nothing in way/nothing prevents
>EGO means self/me in psychoanalysis/ich
>Ego is something in your personality that blocks your non-civilized impulses
Nihilego in Pokedex:
"One of several mysterious Ultra Beasts. People on the street report observing those infested by it suddenly becoming violent."
DEEPEST LORE, NICE CATCH GF
anybody with a functioning brain already knew this
yfw Nihilego is the Rattata of the UB world
>>29823505
yfw:
ratatta has 25% of arceus hp, 46% of arceus atk, 29% of arceus def, 20% of arceus spa, 29% of arceus spd and 60% of arceus spe
and this means that Arceus of the UB World has 436/115/162/635/451/171

How does it feel to be playing an elaborate ROM hack, /vp/?

Yeah. "serebii confirmed." Just like when those SM final starter evos were fake right? And how nothing can legitimate can ever leak from /vp/? Or how Yveltal is Dark/Dragon type? Or that Kangaskhan can learn Knock Off? All of this is must be true because some britbong said so.

Can someone tell me where do I find the UB-06?

btw UB-06 is the black edgy one

multiple anons have said he's at ten carat hill. bring repels and walk around in the grass in the back
I'm installing this game for android. Gonna try and work my way through the moonspeak - the mechanics read pretty simple.
Anybody played this one?
>>29823210
Nobody eh? I got through the tutorial fine. It's kind of fun. The first battle they basically showed me every move to make, but it helped me learn the rules in absence of understanding the long Japanese text boxes.
>>29823547
This game has a top tier husbando, good choice in playing it anon.
>>29823597
I'm in it for the models, Anon. It has some of the nicest graphics of any Pokémon game I've ever seen.
Alsothe game is kind of fun
I won my first match against a random sushinigger.
First and fore most: there are only 2 mythicals this gen and as we know mythicals are used for movies promotion and movie distribution.
We have Magearna and Marshadow.
Magearna was already used for gen 7 promo this summer (qr code is already avaible)
Marshadow is for next summer
And thats it the dont have anything more
Well TECHNICALLY there's one more mon: Eternal Floette with the most powerful Fairy move Light Of Ruin. Yes AZ Floette is in SM aswell although i doubt it it will be used in SM because why would they since there's no AZ or anything
I can see another gen 7 game next year with some new forme for Marshadow and gen 8 in 2018
Question what game though? GF said they want to surprise people and Eclipse/SM2 is way too obvious since tons of people talk about it already (plus SM has less loose ends than gen 6 and even 5). Kanto re-remkes wouldnt make sense a year after the 20th annivesary and Sinnoh remakes seem to early
>>29823209

> G8 will be their first game on Switch so it will be OK if it turns out to be shit
Kek
You can usually tell how long a gen is going to be by how many mythical Pokemon it has.
Gen 1 (1996): 1 Mythical (Mew)
Gen 2 (1999): 1 Mythical (Celebi)
Gen 3 (2002): 2 Mythicals (Jirachi and Deoxys)
Gen 4 (2006): 4 Mythicals (Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus)
Gen 5 (2010): 4 Mythicals (Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect)
Gen 6 (2013): 3 Mythicals (Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion)
Gen 7 (2016): 2 Mythicals (Magearna and Marshadow)
There's only two Mythicals this gen, and one of them already shared its movie with Volcanion earlier this year. That just leaves a movie for Marshadow next year.
You forgot about the anime getting a special 20th anniversary movie next year where they give out Ash Pikachu.
>>29823215
i'm sure this will be just for japan, gf motherfucker
>>29823191
>implying UBs won't get separate movies
Point out some stuff you might have noticed that others may not have:
Tapu Fini:
Gets Misty Surge which means that status effects can't happen for grounded Pokemon and reduces Dragon damage taken by grounded Pokemon by 50%.
Both abilities don't mesh with it well. It nullifies using Toxic, Scald, or status moves on the enemy, which are popular strategies for bulky waters trying to wear out the opponent.
It has Nature's Madness which halves the opponent's HP, and Brine which has 130 base damage if the opponent is at half or less HP.
Misty Surge allows Tapu Fini to switch in regardless of Toxic Spikes being on the field without worry of being poisoned.
In doubles:
Misty Surge prevents confusion now, so Tapu Fini can use Swagger on an ally to boost its Attack two stages without the ally getting confused due to Misty Surge.
Additionally has access to both Surf and Dazzling Gleam STAB attacks, which hurt multiple enemies on the field.
Anything else anyone's noticed while theory-crafting builds?
Also, Nature Power has 20 PP and becomes Moonblast on Misty Terrain, so it can carry Nature Power over Moon Blast for an extra 5 base PP, in most cases. The downside is that it has to fear its field effect getting overwritten.
I've heard Sparkling Aria hits everyone in doubles.
Alolan marowak will make a fantastic check for many bugs. The most prominent ones that it hard checks are galvantula and scizor but it's a great switchin to most bugs and many electric types, especially thundurus, magnezone, and lightningdoge.
No one will read this
>I'm gay
How do you know which Wishiswashi is yours when the battle is over?
>>29823075
Yes the one that returns to the pokeball retard.
>>29823147
But how do you know your wishiwashi didn't fuck off with the rest of them?
If you own one wishiwashi, do you own the whole whale? What if two Wishiwashis are fighting each other and get some fish mixed up? Do they just change sides?
>>29823157
Like >>29823147 said, the pokeball's only gonna accept your Wishiwashi. You could also google schooling/shoaling fish, there's probably some sort of social order? Like how lions have prides. They don't randomly swap sides.
>tfw Sun and Moon are huge disappointments
I tried to not even get that hyped this time
why did they disappoint you
be specific
They haven't even been released yet :^)
>>29823017
>>29823018
Gotta follow the bandwagon of "disappoint"
With all the complaining about Alola pokemon sucking, a question came to me.
What is considered bulky in pokemon? Since physical and special defense are two different stats, for the sake of this discussion we can just pick one defense stat, since a pokemon can be physically bulky but not specially for example.
Is 85/75 bulky? I've seen people here say that that's squishy and can't take hits for shit, when I know of a good number of pokemon squishier than that. But okay, I believe you, 85/75 isn't nothing to write home about.
85/85? 90/90? What's the magic number where the combined hp and defense stat make a pokemon bulky? Is it 200? (100 hp 100 of that defense stat).
Also, separate question regarding pokemon defenses while I'm on the subject. Is HP more valuable than defense? For example, is 150 hp and 50 defense better than 150 defense and 50 hp? What's the difference? What are the advantages to either? I assume its better to have low hp and high defense.
Higher defenses are usually preferred over high HP. Rotom-W and Skarmory are usually considered bulky, while Wailord and Drifblim aren't. High HP has side benefits, like letting you get off more recoil moves without dying, but, defenses are usually the way to go.
It's also good to specialize your defenses. Typing aside 70/130/50 is better than 70/90/90, as long as you know what hits to take.
>>29823224
I looked up the averages for stats for fully evolved Pokemon and found that for HP the average is 80, and for both defenses it's 83. 80 and 83 is 163, but that's also factoring in overpowered legendaries. I'd say a combined bulk of 160 should be considered average.
Lycanrok night has a combined bulk of 160 in both stats, so when people say he has shitty frail defenses can I say they are objectively wrong then?
typing is a huge part of being "bulky" rotom-wash and spiritomb have almost exactly the same defenses, but the latter is considered much more bulky due to its ability to resist common attack types
in other words there is no magic number, having high hp as opposed to high defenses isn't a big deal (a high enough number in either will compensate for the other)
correct
Seems right to me OP
>>29822904
How can BW and BW2 be on different plains if it's a direct sequel.
>>29823538
They're not? I think OP is using Black/2 to mean both games in the third timeline.
