What if the Switch game is a remake of the unreleased Pocket Monster RPG for the N64 DD Game Freak was supposed to be making back when?
The reason the game is coming so quickly is they already have design documents to work off of.

Unno seems like the "let the rest of the team throw in whatever they want while I snort paints" type so if it his him I hope some good shit goes in.
What if Gamefreak and Retro Studios are secretly teamed up on co-producing the Pokemon game for the Switch?
It might explain why Retro has essentially disappeared off the radar and have yet to even reveal a single teaser of whatever they've been working on.
Gamefreak is always one step ahead in development, and probably began some concept work for Gen 8 when the NX/Switch was being rumored. And if anyone could help them make the jump from handheld to console hybrid, it would be Retro. They have a good track record, and it wouldn't hurt to have new friends in your pocket.
While it may be unlikely, it doesn't hurt to speculate. What do you guys think? Coincidental?

I wouldn't say it's easier, but it does seem quicker. You actually have to pay attention though. you can just hold down one button and do something else while you hatch eggs.

Unexpected waifu thread.
There have been threads dedicated to mons that have been favourites or waifus. But I want to dedicate this one to those mons that took us by suprise and ended up being the slut of the team.
Back when ORAS was a few weeks from release I decided to do a Wonder Trade run of X. And one of the mons was Furfrou. I didn't expect much of it. But goddamn this thing takes dicks amd gives no shits. Almost every gym battle it ended up being the deciding factor in my victories. It fucks decently hard too for ingame purposes. I startes loving it after that run. Such a reliable mon.
What about you anons? Ever had a mon suprising you with how sexy it was?
