Eh, Samurott is more of a samurai warlord/general than a typical samurai. The chest plate and facial hair gives it away.
Kartana just makes the it's samurai inspiration more obvious by having literal katana arms. But Samurott is still based on the high class japan warriors/Daimyos.

Vp -- be a doll and help a true nigga out. I just beat the Elite 4, & I know I need to go to the place to meet Looker and Anabel. What else is there to do in Pokémon Moon after becoming champion? I'm satisfied with it but I can't really say anything until I capture every Ultra Beast. I felt that they were too ambiguous throughout the game and I'm considering them separate creatures from Pokémon but this may change after meeting Looker so idk. What Wicke said about them is important.

I like alola as a region in that is has a lot of culture and unique areas, but why does it feel so goddamn small?
Every area feels like it's only a short walk away from each other. Running from seafolk village to the battle tree only takes about a minute. Melemele island is the worst offender though. Literally just two towns that connect to each other. more obstacles would be nice in between areas, but they could have at least made them a bit longer.

Welcome to the /vp/ Monotype Threads!
Here we hold a Monotype tournament where you compete to be a gym leader and represent your favourite type in Pokemon Sun and Moon!
We are in the early stages of development for the upcoming tournament that will be held into the new year, starting on the 7th of January.
Rules and format are open to discussion at this point but the general rule set is 3v3 best 2 out of 3 using flat rules. More specifics can be found here: http://pastebin.com/8eAQufm5 (subject to change)
Plenty of people will be breeding or injecting, so don't be afraid to ask for help with your team building!
