How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges (Cheat Engine's speedhack strongly recommended to speed up AI games)
>play through using Basic decks to unlock them for versus play
>farm Versus Mode theme ladder for Tokens and Tournament Tickets
>Enter Theme format tournaments whenever possible
>enter Standard/Expanded ticket tournaments and accept that you'll lose
>you'll get tradable tournament chests and sometimes tradable packs
>DON'T OPEN THEM
>Instead, trade them for the cards you actually want for a deck you want to build, most cards go for like 1-3 packs each.
>Public trade is like the GTS, if you want proper results, put up your own offers.

So which game had the best post game?
Also, any idea why each new game improves in so many ways but refuse to have a decent post game. After finishing Sun and Moon (Which I loved) after finishing the game I felt so empty and unmotivated to continue.

I just feel that it was undeniably Pokémon Black and White 2. Join Avenue was good, even if you did not manage to get online. You would get daily NPC visitors to upgrade your shops. The World Tournament had a really satisfying difficulty to it. Not easy enough to steamroll with high levels like the main game, but also not outright cheating and bullshitting you like the Battle Tower and its equivalents. There were some legendaries to catch, as well as events that were only accessible on certain days. Good stuff.
Daily Events and seasons also meant it was was worth it to pick up the game over a larger period of time. More to explore, more to find, more to catch.

Anyone using him? Burn Up hits for 130 BP special and removes Fire typing, making Moltres pure Flying, and Typhlosion and Arcanine ??? type. No STAB, but no weaknesses.

Eruption is still the best route for Typhlosion. Arcanine kinda appreciates Fire since it's used defensively with that resist. Maybe as a last minute change-up to deal with a super effective hitting mon.

It sucks giving up a slot of coverage for two fire type moves, but Eruption starts to trail off on damage at 73-76%, meaning you could try getting off an eruption, tanking a hit, using burn up to remove typing and take another hit or two from an opponent that counter picked. I initially thought it turned you normal, and was excited about Extremespeed shenanigans on Arcanine, but it's ??? typing.

Repeat after me: Game Freak is NOT developing on the Switch. Stars is just a rumor/myth/meme. Game Freak has never developed for a console before. They have never developed a game in the first year of new hardware before. Gen VII has just started. Get over the Switch meme. Wait for the 4DS or its equivalent.
