Just change Emergency Exit so that you switch out at the end of the turn, rather than as soon as you take damage. Then it's usable. Even better if the ability doesn't trigger if you heal back up to 51% or higher. Leech Life was made for him.

My biggest problem is that there's no replacement for the old Exp Share. It was perfectly acceptable to have a strong Pokemon help train a single weak Pokemon with the Exp Share, but now it's either FULL PARTY or nothing.

I played this game on Set, Exp. Share off, no grinding rule and no battle/healing items rule.

Took me 60 hours to beat the main story. Best pokemon games ever.
