Hi there, I'm someone who works for Gamefreak and I have Pokemon Gen 8 leaks!
The new games will be released on the Switch and are called Pokemon Frost and Pokemon Aurora.
The region is set in Antartica, the box legendaries are an Ice/Flying Penguin and an Ice/Water Sea Lion. The master of the two is an Ice/Steel Orca Whale.
The starters are an Ice/Fighting Goat, an Ice/Psychic Seagull and an Ice/Dark Shark.
There is a return to gyms with 8 ice gyms, and Frost forms of Pokemon, which are similar to Alola forms.
Finally, pic related is the Pikaclone for this generation.
It's an Ice/Fairy Moon Rabbit!

I think the two game tradition should die and Game Freak should give us one good game that feels complete with both legends in them. Game Freak as a company gets away with too much shit already and to think they are the developers for a series like Pokemon. It's pathetic.

Yungoose is from a new region, Some Mongooses can be found in Southern Europe which used to be part of the UK until Brexit, UK flag is found in the Hawaii flag and gamefreak likes to plan ahead. Reginos region leak is pretty smart even with the name (regina+os) and the mythologies and the leak mentions being connected to kalos and 2 regions can only be handled on the switch so maybe Stars this year as a switch test and Reginos region next year

Under the assumption that Pokemon can breed with humans, what is the Egg Group of humans?
Personally, I'm leaning towards Field, because that is where most primate-based Pokemon including Oranguru are found. Humanshape is definitely the secondary Egg Group.
