The game has some changes.
>Some bug med trainers were fixed
>The trainer battle theme and gym leader battle theme have been changed

A 802 rom hack of Pokémon fire red. The game order is slightly varied. Also of Pokémon were changes darastically( patrat is a psychic/ dark special attacker) and some gym types are changed too.
The gamw is difficult. It has the gen 6 exp share but the trainers levels are always above yours. Don't do a nuzlocke unless you are crazy. The game also has alot of variety. Most Pokémon can't be found in more than more than one route. Most if not all fully evolved Pokémon are used by atleast one trainer. The game also has day/night and physical/special split

The changes are only for a few pokemon. The starters have 530 BST. Samurott is water/fighting with 120 attack. Watchog has 110 special attack. Serpeirior has 90 attack and is now part ground. The 3 fully evolved starters learn surf

How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges (Cheat Engine's speedhack strongly recommended to speed up AI games) to get 45 free packs
>play through using Basic decks to unlock them for versus play
>farm Versus Mode theme ladder for Tokens and Tournament Tickets
>Enter Theme format tournaments whenever possible
>enter Standard/Expanded ticket tournaments and accept that you'll lose
>you'll get tradable tournament chests and sometimes tradable packs

>Instead, trade them for the cards you actually want for a deck you want to build, most cards go for like 1-3 packs each.

To see what your PTCGO stuff is worth, look on the PTCGO forums in the trading section. Top Cut & other big trading companies will typically overprice cards, expect to get lower. Keep pack value in mind when trading.

This thread's theme is fanfics. What do you look for in a fic with shipping? The following was suggested in previous threads:
How to find a fic wth shipping that isn't complete trash:
>Look for a fic where romance isn't the sole focus
>Make sure the fic maintains that this is about Pokemon
>Novelizations of the games are generally a good place to start looking, though these will often be limited to more common ships, such as protag/rival or male protag/fem protag
>If not novelizations, sequels or what if scenarios are also good
>If the romance doesn't move way to quickly, than it may be a good read, shipping or not
>All of this only applies to longer fics. Nothing wrong with fluffy one-shots.


We'll also be making a catalogue of ship fics. Feel free to recommend any quality ship fics. We're starting with the more common ships, such as maleprotag/femaleprotag, protag/rival, Ash/travel companion, etc, then move onto less common ones.
