hey guys,
i have a school project where I have to choose a game (or franchise) and analyse what it did for the ones who played it and the society itself. I chose Pokemon, because why not.
I already had some ideas in mind (like Pokemon Go and the Media around it), but maybe some of you guys have something in mind that I didn't think of.

-the naming of the pikachurin protein
-the Uri Geller incident
-pokemon viewed as satanic media by religous moms
-pokemon as one of the mascots in the 2020 Olympics

What small thing only available in old games are worth collecting now that hyper training is a thing?

Gamefreak isn't owned by Nintendo, Pokemon is. They can make whatever games they want for whatever platform they want, unless it's Pokemon. Then they'd need Nintendo's permission.
