doing a nuzlocke; dubs make all important decisions.
Well?
We don't need dubs for this, first response decides

if your favourite is a start, or legendary, just pick your favourite starter/favourite non starter or legend/favourite legend.
I hate all starters and I'm not too fond of any legendaries.

Welcome to Fairly Powerful Fetuses general. Last thread reached the bump limit
Post /fpf/, praise /fpf/, discuss /fpf/, rate fanmade /fpf/, be a /fpf/.
Q&A:
>What is /fpf/
/fpf/ stands for Fairly Powerful Fetuses (there are many more than in the thread macro)
>and?
Some are good, others are good too, the rest are also good.
>does this thread has a point
Yes.
>Fuck, marry, kill?
Fuck Mew, marry Jirachi, kill Celebi
>are Fairly Powerful Gorilla Arm Dragons welcome too?
No.
>Todays topic:
What's the easiest way to identify a Fairly Powerful Fetus
>Todays challenge
Say Fairly Powerful Fetus fast 2000 times
>>31863175
I think faily powerful fetuses can be identified mostly by their body shape, which is similar to that of a fetus (with oversized head and relatively undeveloped limbs). Obviously, though the title qualifies that they have to be somewhat strong. How should we determine if a fetus is fairly powerful?
>>31863280
A good starting point. I think the body shape and power should both come into play, but identifying that they are fairly powerful further necessitates defining power. Is it purely Attack? Att & Sp Att? Some index of all stats? Perhaps by whether or not the pokemon can learn specific moves? etc...
What does everyone else think?

Should I evolve my Pikachu from Yellow into an Alolan Raichu?
>>31863094
You literally can't. Only Alolan native Pikachus evolve into ARaichu. Imports evolve into classic Raichu.
>>31863094
No
Not everyone has a forerunner Pikachu all the way from Yellow version
>>31863117
there is no such thing as an `alolan pikachu'. Everything pre-Raichu is the same as other gens.
>Rock snake/Iron snake Pokémon
Other serpentine Pokémon like Arbok and Seviper are part of the Dragon egg group, but these guys are only part of the Mineral group. Wouldn't it be great if they were both Mineral and Dragon? They'd be able to learn some cool moves, but they could also act as a bridge between the two groups, expanding both what other Minerals and Dragons could learn.
Steelix can also learn Dragonbreath, can't it?
>>31863037
They're not snakes.
They're earthworms.

How do we fix Flinching/Missing/Paralysis?
These 3 mechanics can pretty much ruin competitive games and just make the game less fun, with the only exception being Fake Out flinches.
And obvious we can't just make it so that Dynamic Punch and Sheer Cold hit 100% of the time for every Pokémon.
Ideas?
>>31863036
stop trying to get luck out of competitive. luck is part of the game, those moves/mechanics are based on roll. skill isn't just getting rocks and hitting hard. dealing with luck is part of your skill.
Steel Types don't flinch anymore. There you go, crybaby.

>still no invertebrate starter-type pokemon
>>31862103
its cos bug sucks offensively no one wants a started that is resisted by 7/18 types.tfw bug is one of my fav types
>>31862139
it doesn't have to be bug though
if there's an invertebrate starter that isn't bug it's more likely to be water-type because crabs and octopuses and shit
>>31862139
>no one wants a started that is resisted by 7/18 types
And yet grass has been an elemental starter choice for 20 years now
I still don't think bug will be a starter type anytime soon (similar to dragon, but who knows), but if I could I would like to see a fire/bug or water/bug starter more than a grass/bug one
