What if we replaced IVs with actual, noticeable physical characteristics, each carrying their own pros and cons, adding some more depth to breeding competitively as well as casually and also making every mon more actually unique as IVs were originally intended to do, except in a tangible way that doesn't only carry downsides?
Would such a thing even be reasonably possible to cover the entire national dex in a detailed way without too much tweaking for each individual species and not fucking up everything too much?
Please help me develop my shit opinion.

What is the best type of pokeball?
I always go with Dream if I can, but in Alola I don't know whether to go with love balls or beast balls. I'm definitely catching all the legendaries in love balls, though.
