Haven't tried it yet, no opinion.

All in all if you have to pick one I'd go with Insurgence, because at least I don't want to bleach my eyes when I play it like it happened with reborn before my save got corrupted after the mirror gym.

I could swear I read a post about something similar about a week ago here but I just wrote it off as someone being stupid and not paying attention. But the Raichu thing...you literally cannot catch regular Raichu in Alola. I don't get it. Obviously I didn't get them from Wonder Trade or anything either. I just can't figure it out.

Yes. They just recoloured the corn nuggets on the end of his "hands" green so not to raise suspicion. They left the rest in the log itself though. It is very repeatable as everyone had rock hard poop and everyone eats corn. The weird protrusion on the top of the head is clearly the part where one's "log cutter" does its job. A for the fire it breathes in the picture it represents the burning sensation we all feel with each shit.

I think the reason that pokemon designs work so well is because they have progressively gotten more complex each generation. In the first few gens, all grass types were based off of flowers, but in gen 3 they created sceptile and the concepts branched off to where we are today with seaweed ghosts controlling anchors. No one would like Pokemon if they came out with stuff like that in the first installment, but because they have slowly become more creative with their designs the fanbase has become more accepting of these things.

New games need to be careful with how they design their monsters, but being careful leads them to have trouble attracting an audience because they look uninspired. Pokemon is lucky because it was the first franchise to take it slow and steady instead of going straight to the over the top design choices.
