This started in gen 6, and the reasoning is probably because TM51 was Ally Switch in gen 5, but was changed to Steel Wing in gen 6. It's entirely possible that they forgot to change it, but I prefer the theory that it's a reference to Area 51

I have good memories of it but it's boring to play now

I don't know if this is serious or not, but you need to experiment more with colors and body shapes. All of these look the same. Look at Pokemon like Squirtle, Treecko and Chimchar. Their evolutions are drastically different from each other yet still look related.
