Pokemon gain a small percentage of their exp after leveling up rather than the full value. After a few hours the modifier is reset. This will promote raising multiple pokemon rather than a few powerhouses.

You may only use a pkmn center once every 24 hours. If your pokemon are fainting that often, then you need to take a break and reflect on what you are doing wrong.

Ev training is now relegated to level 100 pokemon only, otherwise remains unchanged.

Pokemon eggs are now timer based, with the fastest hatching in a day while others can reach upwards of 6-8 weeks. Pokemon are not machines. You can't rush life.

Money is no longer exchanged between winners and losers of pokemon battles. To get funds for your adventure, you must perform real jobs that aid society in some way. For example, working parttime at a pokemart, or teaching new trainers the basics of pokemon care.

In the event of a party wipe, your save file is lost. With nothing to protect you, you are raped by travelling trainers and eaten by wild pokemon.

This one is actually a good idea. The hotel jobs in Lumiose were nice. Although I don't think prize money from battles should be removed entirely, I'd like to see something like this become a much bigger and more efficient source of money, along with some things to actually spend money on, like the Villa.

They certainly die. Death and mourning of Pokemon has existed since the first game.
It's just very unclear how they die. Old age? Disease? Specific types of physical harm?

These are the must-play Pokémon games, Gen I and II games were amazing for their time, but the remakes render the originals obsolete.

B2W2 has a terrible region, terrible Gen V pokemon designs, but it's worth playing by the amazing content alone.
