We all know that Pokemon these days are mostly animals combined with objects, human occupations, and mere elemental aspects. It kinda makes you miss the chimeric wackiness of generation 1, you know.
Well, that's where this thread comes into play. Post ideas for chimeric Pokemon in the likes of the Nidorans and the Spearow line. Ambiguous monstermons that inherit Snorlax's legacy are also welcome.

Just finished reading the BW arc.
I liked it but the first half feel really slow while the last three volumes feel really rushed. I think I'll wait for BW2 to finish and consider the arc in its totality before deciding if it's good or not.
What's your opinion on it?

It's a generic shonen, it's good but not great.
The fact that some arcs feel rushed detract from it and the liberties the author takes from the games' plot vary from really good to not so great.
I read it and like it, but it feels like JoJo: Every arc should be graded on its own merits.

I find BW arc to be ridiculously overrated. I share your opinion on the pacing, and I found a lot of elements to be pretty forced, such as N, or the relationship between Black and White. I think Black was an okay protagonist, though nothing about him stood out and I wouldn't care if he was replaced by anyone. He wasn't bad, but far from good. And I found White to be just boring.
If you're asking opinion on PokeSpe as a whole, I like it. In particular RGB, DPPt and XY arcs, and I've been enjoying SM so far, though there is too little out yet.

No, that is far from "a shame". That's a great thing. Whenever we get a new chapter, we get a thread about it. Any discussion about it is done in those threads. The anime has a general, but at this point, it's not even about the anime. It's just shitposting. That's a containment general, where all the cancer is kept. I hope PokeSpe discussion never come close to being like that, ever.
