Imo the whole "create your own character" is shit. It's a cool feature, but on the other side, it ruins the whole connection between you and the protagonist. I don't feel connected to Serena / Calem and the protags from SM in any way possible.
GF is better off designing some cool protags instead of throwing in character customization, despite many players wanting it.

Yes. The only way it will brick is if you fuck it up and don't follow the instructions during a single part.
Aside from that the process is completely safe and you should just do it if you're thinking about it. Just sit down with it for an hour or two if you're slow and go with it.

Holy shit I forgot SM was around.
Now that the hype wore off, I noticed I haven't touched the game for 3 months now, it truly was a barebones and content-lacking game.
I even noticed I played more SS lately.
I didn't want to think the game was bad or lacking, I defended it to death last year but... I guess I gotta agree with the haters this time.
