What are your thoughts on part of the screen being just HUD/information UI of sorts?
Think a (thin) box (def. not the size of a second screen, that's distracting in my opinion) below the map displaying time, status of your Pokémon, maybe clock, maybe key item shortcuts (binded to a particular key). If you press the menu key, the menu appears down there. During battle it becomes the typical battle buttons.
Questions:
>What size is acceptable? What size is too much?
>What's the most important information to display idly? (while you're just walking around a map)
>Should it have mouse compatibility, even if its compatible with just keyboard controls?
>What are some other smart uses it could have in other screens? For example, in the summary screen it could be used as buttons to switch between the different screens (memo, moves, ribbons etc) and during the bag it could be used to switch pockets.
I have the skills to code all this, just don't know if it's worth it. Dual screen is a meme to me because I don't think playing with mouse+keyboard is any good on a Pokémon game, but maybe dedicating a small part of the screen isn't? Really looking forward to your input.
I've been away for a couple months. What happened to Nuzlocke generals?

Gorilla Arm Dragons

And?
>What's the point?
The point is Gorilla Arm Dragons
>Does this thread have a point?
Yes.
>Thread topic:
Thundurus-T has been added into our beloved brotherhood! While it's a tentative and potentially temporary addition, I'm sure everyone involved is very happy with the situation.
>Thread challenge:
OC with Thundurus-T, or basically anything with Thundurus-T. Make him feel included!
>current /gad/ thread record holder
14 days 14 hours (contended)
>previous thread
14 days 13 hours... or slightly more. No one knows if it broke the record or not, but the last reply was at 14 days 13 hours.
Remember, dragon energy and gorilla strength will be yours, but only if you wonder what the point of this thread is.

Is that a quote in the OP picture? It seems familiar.

Why isn't regular Blaziken OU again? I mean, Seed Boost on something with 80 speed isn't THAT dangerous, and Chicken Boo's pretty frail and doesn't hit that hard anymore, meaning it has to protect, but it will die next turn anyway because it won't be able to kill the other Pokemon or because it set up SD.
is it more OU than greninja I ponder
I wonder all the time why pokemon are banned, even though they're not broken in the slightest. Even if they can take out a pokemon in one hit with a NVE attack, if you just gang up on it, it'll die easily. The only real things that are actually broken are Extreme Evoboost and Magearna.
And then I realize these are people who actually play singles. The fools.

>Tapu Lele blocking priority
>Talonflame is dead
Pretty obvious why desu
The previous arguments against its ban no longer apply
Post Pokemon I can't remember.

I bet you don't remember this one

Spectrobes? You get a "my man"!
>Decidueye gets Spirit Shackle, one signature move from leveling up
>Primarina gets Sparkling Aria, one signature move from leveling up
>Incineroar gets Darkest Lariat and Throat Chop, two signature moves from leveling up
What did GameFreak mean by this?
>>32348610
>Chesnaught got one signature move
>Delphox got one signature move
>Greninja got two signature moves
They meant that Incineroar is the new Greninja
Weavile also gets Throat Chop
Same reason it got promo art with Greninja, Litten got a nice emotional arc in the anime, Incineroar is getting a surprise showing in movie 20, and Masuda likes Litten's line best.
.... whatever that reason is.
so, who is cucking the starters of their signature moves on the next games
reminder that his has happened withalmostevery starter:
>frenzy plant/hydro cannon and BURASTO BAAN were supposed to be the signature moves of the kanto starters
>all the starters cuck them of these moves
>johto/sinnoh starters didnt got signature moves (LMAO)
>leafeon/gallade cucked sceptile's leaf blade
>hitmonlee/riolu/chimchar cucked blaziken's blazeit kick
>gastrodon/quagsire cucked swampert's muddy water
>shellder cucked samurott's razor shell(yeah i know this is not a signature move but you know damn well it was intended to be samurott's signature move because of the animation)
>cacturne and maractus cucked chesnaught of spiky shield
>mismagius cucked delphox's mystical fire
>accelgor cucked greninja's water shuriken
>troh cucked greninja's mat block
the only starter who has kept its signature move is emboar with heat crash
so, i ask you /vp/
who is getting darkest lariat, sparkling aria and spirit shackle in the next games?
Don't forget Throat Chop for Roar. Wonder why he got two signature moves... really makes you think.
Also, watch Spirit Shackle become a common ghost move.
>nobody receives sealwater cause nobody wants it
sparkling aria = lapras or alomomola
darkest lariat = hawlucha or pangoro
spirit shackle = this one is tricky because there are no archer pokemon besides decidueye

TM101: Ability Sketch.
Obtained by defeating the Pokemon League rematches 5 times. Can be taught to all TM-compatible Pokemon. How does the meta change? The ability copy lasts until reused, and after its use, the move which it overwrote returns with 0 PP.
>flash fire
No one will run pokemon with good abilities.
Way to go, you just gave everything Huge Power.
>>32348823
You'd give Guzzlord and the Chansey line Innards Out.
Why do Japs love this penguin so much? Just like Pikachu, it completely eclipses its evolution(s) in popularity.
kys autistic fucktard
Piplup is easily the best starter, you raging monkeyfag
>>32347963
No. The best starter isyour least favorite.

>"Maybe, on the 'check Partner's Pokémon' screen, there's a Report option. It sends that Pokemon'w data to Game Freak, runs a special hack check, blocks/bans obvious hacks (if it can confirm that user was the creator), and sends any suspicious Pokemon to human reviewers. (And add a 'view received Pokémon' screen to Wondertrade that does the same thing). The human reviewer can call on the reported Pokémon Trader's info (through their history saved to their PGL account) to both determine if it's the source, if it's the only infraction, and whether or not to ban the player."

>Gen IV
>14 Legendaries
Was this the point where they went too far?
>>32347414
6 of them (Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and the Lake trio) play significant roles in the plot, so those are fine. Arceus too in an indirect way, being their creator.
The only place they really overboard was with stuff like Regigigas and Heatran. Just there for the sake of it.
>>32347414
Yes and no. I think it would be overlooked if fifth gen didn't do the same. But at the same time I would say that sixth gen also dropped the ball by only having six legendaries, with the cover legendaries being the only plot relevant ones and having three others be mythical events and not even activate anything in game.
>Gen VI
>6 legendaries
Was this the point where they went too short?
