I didn't participated in the April challenge. However I entered the February one and had a good time. Will enter this one for sure.
In February I got 32W-13L getting around ~660th with a tailwind oriented team. My team was Whimsicott, Braviary, Incineroar, Vanilluxe, Tapu Lele and Gastrodon.
I made a quick team for a local tournament last saturday and I liked it so I will improve it and use it for this challenge. It's a team centered around belly drum Snorlax.
I hope to get at least a 2W/1L ratio this time too.

Does it have a lot of the older Pokemon besides the alolan forms of Kanto dudes? How long is the story gameplay roughly? And I read a bit about how you can battle online... Do you need to finish the story first to do that and can you battle without using perfect stats Pokemon?

This Pokemon's clairvoyance leaves aural residue around those it views, which was once referred to as "paranoia". However, it has since been revealed that thoughts of being watched are ultimately caused by this Pokemon gazing at you from afar.

Mable (blue hair) should have a gadget orbiting her that shot ice beam like attack that frost your pokemon (contrasting that her main pokemon is Houndoom and always start battling with a fire move), this machine only have 3 shots that are shown their countdown on the machine, the machine fires the ice beam every time you send out a pokemon, making the third shot being blockeable by sending out you first pokemon that was already frozen. This affects pokemon that cant be frozen too.

Xerosic, being some shady basement dweller guy, could have a gadget orbiting over your pokemon, this machine could make a gravity like attack that lowers the speed, attack and special attack by one, this attack is made every time you send out a pokemon. Being the main scientist is going to be the hardest to defeat, so the last 2 grunts you defeat before metting him will break the 4 wall (in their own in-character way) warning you about Xerosic recomending you to save your game before battling him.

To long to want to read, but I agree XY characters are lame. I think the Gym Leaders are the one who need more fixing though. Team Flare scientists would have been forgettable no matter what.

Tierno the moves guy, could be an early move tutor, his team could be the same (with a better movepool) and he challenges you more often. Every time you defeat him he offers you in reward to teach any pokemon in your team a list of moves that he offers.

The first time he challenges he only show you 3 moves, and every time you meet him again the list moves that he offers add more moves.

He doesnt charges you nothing to teach moves, and you can teach those move as many times yopu want, but he dissapears every time you enter to a pokemon center, letting only to teach moves to the team you used to defeat him.

Once you beat the league he roams the region being aviable when you want, you contact him via holo caster to give you his location, fighting him is optional now and has a full list of moves to give you.
