Welcome to the /vp/ Monotype Tournament!

Here we hold a Monotype tournament where you compete to be a gym leader and represent your favourite type in Pokemon Sun and Moon!

Is there any reason not to evolve a pokemon?
Since the games allows you to do so, even giving you an item whose entire purpose is to prevent evolution, I'm curious.

Are there pokemons who have greater stat gains if unevolved or better moves?

My little girl put this on my desk a little while ago.

Words cannot describe how happy I am. She draws about things she likes. I knew introducing her to Pokemon was a good Idea.

She's 9 years old, and Pokemon FireRed was her first video game ever. She started playing it on and off a year ago, and recently, she's been spending all her time not spent on homework and playing outside on the game.

It made me so happy when she picked the same starter (Charmander) her daddy picked oh so long ago. And it made my heart absolutely melt when she affectionately named it after herself, once again, as I did as a child.
Tell me /vp/ if you ever have a child, will you introduce them to Pokemon?
