Do you mean to stop existing? Or to be made more balanced instead of maximising probabilities? Or for the competitive communities to stop being so full of themselves?
It brings a lot of entertainment to a lot of people. Even if most players would rather not engage in it, its existence doesn't really negatively effect anybody.

Dude I've been in and out of the fucking system and I can tell you its already a meme in itself. After trying to salvage and save bans I find this entire game is just dying competitively (at least on the smogon side). People follow their honor rules but its been nothing but a shit show for awhile now.
Ever since that fight broke out on discord between admins its almost become faction-heavy. Like its a passive aggressive kind of in-fighting now on what direction people want to go with the meta, all I know now is that if something new springs up, they ban it. Period. Smogon's like a gardener that keeps trimming a flower's stray petals and goes too far and now they're at the stem, assuring themselves they can hit Gen 4 post-Garchomp Ubers ban where it was the golden age. But they can't.
Gamefreak needs to do some hardcore balance on the next gen if they want to fix anything. Smogon isn't the problem but has in itself become the meme I always thought it at least wasn't.

Its pretty obvious that Crystal will be released on Virtual Console and GF and Nintendo left it for the future to get more money (its possible less people would buy GS if Crystal was in the bunch)
The question is what game Crystal will be linked with?
RGBY are linked with SM
GS will be linked with Ultra SM
Does it mean there will be (at least) one more 3ds game for Crystal to be linked with? Also i would bet for the next year because waiting 2 years with Crystal would be odd.
Final gen 7 game? DP remakes?

Shadow Claw/Swords Dance/Play Rough/Destiny Bond
Use Swords Dance first turn to set up then just sweep. Other 2 mons are for emergencies. Also, have it be 6IV. Forgot to mention Destiny Bond is an egg move.

I actually like Alolan Golem.
Before you ask, no I do not enjoy male cock in my mouth, nor have I ever considered engaging in acts of courtship with a man. I am simply partial to Alolan Golem because of instead of making a generic lava rock like the fans -destitute of a truly worthy experience in life and with cultures -
speculated, Gamefreak went the route of man and created Alolan Golem.
Let's talk about Golem. Golem was created out of Hassidic mythology - a Golem is created out of mud and rock to create a walking man-beast. Alolan Golem, on the other hand, is of the Hawaiian enthymeme - creating a truly Hawaiian envorinmet with the theme of Pumice rock, as well as creating a Taser gun creature reminiscent of a Taser gun.
Alolan Golem is based on hawaii, and lava is generic - when you see Hawaii, you see pumice rock and themes such as dragon (Drampa), and the cotton gin (tsareena and to a lesser extent, xurkitree). Alolan Golem stands resplendent in that it is based on hawaii. It is both a pumice rock and a taser, two themes in-keeping with the theme of Hawaii.
Alolan Golem is a great design and a great Pokemon, and if you do not agree you can die by my hand, a bloody death. tl;dr
