I don't think about it much. I don't live there and other than people online I've never met anyone from Canada. It's in the same regard as I hold for people from Britain even though I have met people from there. Cool that your prime minister is decriminalizing marijuana. Well at least there's no record of you doing so. I spent $3000 and a year on probation here in America for not even the weed. Just the tobacco pipe. Couldn't get a job or anything. I ended up getting a job after expunging the crime from my record and paying back the family members that put up the money for me. That was a lucky break even if it cost me a much lower status with my family and a huge amount of time. I refer to it in my head as the missing year.

I resided in Tennessee at the time in which case there was a head shop pretty much in every town but if you were caught with a tobacco pipe it was considered for smoking weed out of. Paraphernalia is considered a misdemeanor with an 11 month and 29 day probationary offense. Granted this was about ten years ago and they even decriminalized small amounts of marijuana by the city of Nashville but most of the cops pulling you over will be State police. Jurisdictions and all that.
