Here's what I don't get, why does everyone say Persona 3's cast are better characters than 4? Sure, they deal with some heavier issues than the problems of small town country students, but literally all of their problems are about their parents. Literally every character has mommy/daddy issues except for Aigis and the dog. No one in Persona 4's cast has an issue with their parents and their problems tend to be a little more unqie than Persona 3's cast of "Muh Mommy/Daddy"

Overall, Persona 2 is miles better than both

Because the main reasons why people like the character in three more is because they have more of a personality than those of four do through out out the main game.
Junpei starts off trying to be your bro, then once you overshadow him he grows jealous, and he develops with the story.
Unlike Persona 4, in Persona 3 development's a bit more obvious and happens in a larger amount rather than very minor like in P4.
I think both casts are fine but P3's got much better side characters in my opinion.
