I've been playing Hots instead of dota recently

Its the same basic game, but removes the frustration elements. And since its so much more casual, you dont feel as bad when a retard teammate throws the game.

The game seems to have a much stronger focus on "Fun" rather than competitiveness. Which is nice. Because I'm not competing for money, I'm trying to have fun.

I just dont think I can go back to dota at this point just to face another jugg/troll matchup while valve blames the community for not fixing pathfinding bugs for them in blog posts

weaver is versatile enough right now that you can get away with a lot of shit with 4th/5th picks.
venge lion weaver is a strong enough tri to survive early chen aggression if they choose to go aggro, all while shutting down jugg (troll is harder but you can choose to not go tri)
weaver as a mid is probably one of the better heroes to lane against sniper with if you want to go for a lategame draft.
I'm obviously not going to go for a solo offlane weaver because that's retarded, but as a safelane carry weaver does somewhat well now since peter hasn't drafted skywrath mage in forever. If he doesn't pick axe in the first 2 picks (which I guess should be one of my first 2 bans instead of bat/storm) then I can easily get away with a radiance weaver that gets super fat.
I feel like there's still a lot of variations to go on in this meta, even if it's all going to revolve around sniper troll jugg axe until 6.84.
